Apparently, Google automatically makes a page with the Local part, ignoring if you already set up one already.
So, I apparently have to keep two now.

Example:
https://google.com/+Arizonaquickdry
The nice and easy link from a page I created with followers.

https://plus.google.com/u/0/b/112063368292383137530/112063368292383137530/posts/p/pub
Yeah, not so pretty BUT it is tied to the Local listings and no followers.

(sigh)
So, without further ado, I present the new logo:
Spring is coming, hopefully sooner than later, and cleaning is at the top of most people's list.
Arizona Quick Dry is here to clean your carpet and upholstery and rid those surfaces of the slush and salt that winter left behind.
Spring cleaning is our second busiest time of the year, so book early!
The important nuts and bolts are in place, it just needs lots of polish.

The other site, mcdcleaningservices.com is a mess unfortunately. The database vanished/crashed and a rebuild will be needed there too.

Finally, we have another site, carpet-cleaning-michigan.com It only forwards to the AQD site for now, but will eventually become its own site.

Please visit www.arizonaquickdry.com and let me know what you think.
The MCD site, unfortunately suffered the same fate as the old AQD site. The webhost basically disappeared - leaving me with no site or email. So, the next task is to work on the MCD site. However, I need to get my taxes done first. :)Patrickhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12612744363196274746noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4630866320616710112.post-14237079800593513772011-03-09T23:50:00.000-08:002011-03-09T23:50:50.578-08:00Home & Garden | Interiors: Carpet cleaning a must for healthy air | Seattle Times NewspaperHome & Garden | Interiors: Carpet cleaning a must for healthy air | Seattle Times NewspaperPatrickhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12612744363196274746noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4630866320616710112.post-51785296217812797242011-02-07T09:25:00.001-08:002011-03-12T18:25:03.543-08:00New Temporary Home of AQDWell, for some reason, the Arizonaquickdry.com website has gone missing. The main website has been in need of a fresh update (and new web host apparently), so the blog will be the main website for now.
So this will be the home for now....

Patrickhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12612744363196274746noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4630866320616710112.post-82541296738441028092011-02-07T09:06:00.000-08:002011-02-07T09:08:05.659-08:00New Things...Well, we finally have a new van. It's smaller and more fuel efficient. Pictures will coming soon.Patrickhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12612744363196274746noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4630866320616710112.post-26619912497811795402011-02-07T08:40:00.000-08:002011-02-07T09:00:44.244-08:00Price List for 2011Well, as long as gas prices stay reasonably stable, here is the price list for this year. It has not changed since late 2005. The plan has been simple; control cost and shop smart.
Here is the list: (Based on average-sizes)
$50 First Room Charge (Minimum Charge)
$20 Each Additional Full Size Room
$10 Bedroom Walkway or Small Half-Sized Room
$25 Each Set of Stairs (approx. 12-14 steps) <-- This is the only change.
$55 Sofa
$45 Loveseat
$35 Recliner
$30 Upright Chair
$100+ Sectionals (They Vary in Size)

Emergency water extraction must be estimated onsite
Upholstery cleaning is performed using "wet" cleaning methods. Some upholstery requires that it be cleaned using solvent (dry) cleaning. We do not use solvents for cleaning as it violates our policy of safe cleaning products, but we can refer you to those who are trained and certified for this type of cleaning.Patrickhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12612744363196274746noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4630866320616710112.post-21776466518948446012010-07-29T20:41:00.000-07:002010-07-29T21:02:14.590-07:00New Equipment!
OK, despite the van still needing the upgrade, I decided to have better tools to do the job. The newest addition? A new portable extractor and a new wand.

The Mytee Speedster is twice as powerful as my previous machine (which I have used for over 8 years now). This means you can expect a deeper cleaning and faster dry times.

The Westpak wand is wildly popular among fellow carpet cleaners and provides excellent cleaning performance. It also has a lower profile end to reach further under furniture and beds. I just received it yesterday and look forward to trying it out!

Patrickhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12612744363196274746noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4630866320616710112.post-24883815582719837982010-07-04T20:17:00.000-07:002010-07-04T20:55:14.622-07:00New Service! We are pleased to offer a new service - Hardwood & Laminate Floor Refinishing!

This process involves NO sanding, no mess, and very little odor.

The Lamanator process is a new way of restoring floors without the mess and cost of a full-blown sand and refinish job. There are some things to note:

This method of restoration is not for all floors.

Severely damaged floors will not benefit from this process.

What does it do?

Simply put, this process starts with a very deep cleaning and ends with a finish coat that fills minor scratches and leaves a beautiful shine. My 2-1/2 year-old has put it through its paces and it has been fantastic.
This has been that missing piece to offering a completly safe/green carpet cleaning experience for you, my customer.

Patrickhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12612744363196274746noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4630866320616710112.post-34041491363756461682009-09-01T19:07:00.000-07:002009-09-01T19:41:35.729-07:00Just an Update....Thank You!!
OK, first I would like to give a big THANK YOU to my mystery customer who mentioned me at the website http://www.thenest.com/. I don't know who made those kind words, but I do appreciate it.

The New Plans...
Well, the tiered pricing and new equipment plans are still in the works, however there is a bigger problem looming. My aging van, (14 years old now) is finally starting to show its age. The last thing I want, is to miss/be late to a single appointment, so I am actively seeking something smaller and more fuel efficient. Don't be surprised to see a newer van (I can't afford new -sorry) the next time I arrive at your house...Patrickhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12612744363196274746noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4630866320616710112.post-2566712954002062142009-05-21T19:01:00.000-07:002009-05-21T19:56:28.610-07:00Changes Are Coming...So, I haven't blogged in a while and I do apologize. I just attended a very informative seminar today by Doug Heiferman, an IICRC instructor and incredible motivator. (www.dhseminars.net)
His instruction helped me re-focus my goals and plans for this company.
So, how does this education benefit you, my customer? Expect changes in the very near future. I know, "change" has been thrown around a lot this year, but I am excited about this. Some things will be the same. The cleaning products I use will NOT change. I plan on expanding our selection for a more customized cleaning for you. I plan on using more products from Bridgepoint Systems. They have a vast selection of high quality, green certified, and CRI-approved products. CRI-approved you say? That would be the Carpet and Rug Institute. They are a trade group of the manufacturers of YOUR carpet. They recommend what should be used to clean your carpet.

The next big change to expect is a tier system for pricing. I'm still hammering this out, but the new pricing will be to keep our current prices about the same but offer options, or "upgrades". For example, a "Value Package" will consist of a basic cleaning which we already have now. Next, would be a "Premium Package" which would include the basic cleaning and include Scotchguard protectant. The "Premium+ Package" is still in the works, but I am planning making this a completely different experience for you. I envision making this a completely Green package using the best botanicals and Green-certified products and finish it with the newest drying procedures that will dry your carpet in 20 MINUTES.
I'm pretty excited to get this started and will post more details soon.Patrickhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12612744363196274746noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4630866320616710112.post-22706391711466440292009-01-02T12:08:00.000-08:002009-01-02T13:02:19.316-08:00Price List for 2009Well, as long as gas prices stay reasonably stable, here is the price list for this year. After some debate about the best way to post updates and news to the main website, I felt it would be easier to just not mess with the fine work of my webmaster. I also like that blogs tend to be more relaxed and I can update it as much as I want without having to re-learn html to fix it.

So what can you expect from this blog?

All news and updates will be here.

Your questions will be answered here.

Anything else that seems relevant will be posted here.

Despite being quite computer savvy, I will admit that this is kind of new to me so this will be a learning process.
Last, but not least, Happy New Year!
Patrickhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12612744363196274746noreply@blogger.com0
